Letter 19171201

Dear Father and Mother,

Well I thought I would drop you a line or two to let you know how I am. I am all right. How are all of you? You will find enclosed here a coppy of what we had to eat Thanksgiving which may be interesting to you. Well as this letter or message is a short one I had better get to the point. We are going to leave for Camp Pike, Arkansas in the morning. Don't let this worry you as I can live just as good a life down there as I can up here. The only difference is I can't come up there to visit you quite so often but I will get to stay longer probably. Well I can't tell you very much more only that we had a robbery in our barracks last night. One boy lost $50.oo and another a gold watch. They have not found any cluse of the robbery yet. Have you heard from Frank here in the last few days? If so tell me what he said if he had anything interesting to say. Tell Ira, Chester, Mary, and little George hellow for Russell and all the Weldon folks the same. Also tell Walter Braden to give you Roleys address as I want to write to him. Well I guess that is all for this time. Good By.

Good luck to all of you,

May the Lord bless you all.
