Mr. Delk
Dear Uncle, I will try and answer your kind and welcome letter that I received some time ago and was very glad to hear from you.
We are having very nice weather here now.
Uncle Thead has gone home. We had an affle nice visit with him. He stayed all most two week. Poor little Johnie is dead. He died three week a go yesterday at our house.
Kate Tansey has got a little baby girl. It is all most 3 weeks old.
Logan as you call him. He is here and we are going to gather. What do you think of that.
Grand pa and Ida is making it fine. He hasn’t been down for two weeks. He isn’t staying at Weldon now and so he don’t get to come down only ever two weeks.
You must not get mad at Frank for not writing be cause he has so much work to do he doesn’t have time. We have work for a dozen men to do and only Frank and Ira to do it. Pa got hurt about 3 weeks ago and he has been in the house ever since. But he is getting better now so he can get out of the house with his crutches. He fell off a ladder when he was picking apples and we thought he was killed at first.
Well Elmer, ma said she did not have the money now but as soon as she gets it , I will pay you for the handkerchief.
Well I am going to a dance week from to night with Logan if nothing happens.
That picture you sent me is affle nice. I am ever so much obliged. I was so glad to get it. I got some more takin the other day. I haven‘t got them yet but I think they will be here tomorrow.
Well I must close for this time for is is getting so late.
By By write soon
Yours Sincerely
Miss Meda Worden
