My Dearest Niece Will answer your ever welcome letter I recvd Friday Eve Glad to hear you were all well wishe I could say the same but cant I done a little work in my garden yesterday and Pretty near choked to deat all night to Pay for it havent got over it yet Just semms as though Ive just got to sit around and do nothing I actally wish lik Poor John Dickson does I wish I was out of it all sitting here gasping for breath to live on a little longer in hell for that is just what it is coming to a world of Greed and Robberry

Dear ont think to hard of Old Joe I have seen a lot of this dirty Old world well Dear so you got to see uncle Sams air ships well it is quite a sight to one who never see such things but there is 3 big Fields out here besides the vancouver barrics where we see them Every day but Dear you look at the other side of the Picture they are made mostly to bombard citties with filled with helpless women and children with during war they should stop the making of them and save the millons of our money they are wasting for us would lik to ben there the 30 but at home all day alone

Mary Dear all my Pretended Friends I had when I had 3 or 400 chickens lots of fresh Eggs to give them a dozen and a nice 3 1/2 or Pound fryer dont come around any more the dirty trash stays away 1 machine in 7 weeks a nice set of Rich buns well it wont be long to the 18th of June hope you are all well & Old Betsy
