My Dearest Niece Rec your Ever kind and welcome letter yesterday Evening Glad to hear you were all well Well Dear you can see how my case works last week they thought I would choke to death this week I feel fine you would not know I was Ever sick only I am about 30 lbs light in weight my average weight is about 182 lbs I weigh about 153 now never was Puggy or fat just look at my Picture you have where I am standing up with my hat in my hand havent changed one bit long bushy hair drops down over my forward then back my to good friends Mr & Mrs Bershett they are about 55. or 60 years old they told me yesterday I had the most lovely head of hair they Ever seen on a mans head so you had better look out or you might loose your Old uncle Joe they say I dont look over 50 years old they cant hardly belive I am 72 = 9 mo but I sure am

Well Dear Enough about this old carcus I wish Dear you could see my garden Radishes 6 in long 1 in through Potatoes in Bloom big as a hens Egg not a weed to be found hold over twice corn over 1 foot high but Dear the finest Every body says in the State this year but think Dear Enough for 10 People and not a Sole to Eat it the thought brings tears to my Eyes but I must have something to do well 10 more day to wait hopes you are all well write when ever you have time Loves to you all
